Troisième volet de la saga la guerre des serpents: c'est reparti ! On avait droit à un bref répit, le calme avant la tempête, avec le volume précédent, mais dans rage of a demon king, l'action et le suspens reviennent en force.Midkemia est menacée par les démons venant d'un autre monde, conduisant une gignatesque armée sur Krondor. Pug part à la recherche de Macros le noir, disparu depuis des années auparavant, tandis qu'à Krondor est mis en place un plan pour repousser les envahisseurs. Si les serpents restent invaincus, alors la fin de Midkemia est proche.Feist nous enchante une fois de plus, et plus d'une fois je me suis surprise à retenir mon souffle.C'est donc avec un plaisir non dissimulé que je commence le quatrième volet : shards of a broken crown.

One of the best series ever!!

I for one believe the Serpent War series, all 4 books, is perhaps one of the MOST! entertaining series of books I have yet read. In fact, I have reread them more than almost any other in my extensive collection. I like the way his characters evolve and don't stay as they were in the beginning. That's the way life is. I loved Roo in the Rise of a Merchant King and the battles in Rage of a Demon King, when they finally reach the shore "Bigger just makes em easier to hit". So many memorable quotes and exciting strategies. Couldn't put it down.Another series which I truely enjoyed, is The Morcyth Saga by newcomer Brian S. Pratt. Exciting, thrilling, and logically done. Excellent story telling. If you haven't tried it, read The Unsuspecting Mage and you'll see what I mean.
